Essentially, Beck ties this kid getting killed via railroad tie (surely a tragic event) to the de-religiousity of the U.S.. Though he doesn’t all-out say the gangstas involved were atheists, he definitely gets damn close. I didn’t hate Beck until I saw this, now I would punch him if I saw him walking the street. I wanted to punch him through my monitor, but that wouldn’t’ve done anything good.It uninformed idiots like him and Rush Limbaugh that make me ashamed to be a conservative or sometimes even ashamed to be a religious person, just because I have that association with them.

Here’s the thing. He might actually have a good point or too if he didn’t wrap all his points around paranoia and how America is falling.
He would have a point if he didn’t talk about Atheism (rather, make fun of the “Religious Nones”). Yeah, America sucks. Sure, in the 20s you didn’t have random people getting the shit beat out of em (wait…). Sure, no one got killed until the liberals took over and started their Atheistic Authoritarian Adgenda (waaaaiiiit….). All I’m sayin is he’s a total idiot for blaming random acts of violence—which have been occurring since man figured out how to use his thumb (probably before)—on the growing trend of not believing in old books. I get that you’re a religious person, Cody, but I have a feeling that even you can understand that not all crime is based on non-religion. Also, I have to imagine that the Theistic Authoritarian population outnumbers the Atheistic Authoritarian population by at least 100:1. Idiocy and politics and TV don’t mix.
